If you don't really know what we mean - you gotta meet Adetayo and Nini, a mother-daughter entrepreneurial duo bringing their Nigerian inspired, hibiscus-infused refreshments (called Zobo) to St. Norbert every Saturday under the name, Zealord Zobo @zealordzobo⁠
⁠
Zobo is made primarily from ruby-red hibiscus plants giving it a tangy, fruity flavour that's high in vitamin C and iron, perfect on it's own or mixed with some fizzy water.⁠

Did you know: In 1869, a group of Francophone Métis formed the Comité national des Métis which erected a barricade guarded by armed men on Pembina (highway) in St. Norbert. “La Barrière” was strategically placed at the height of the La Salle River to prevent William McDougall from reaching Upper Fort Garry, resulting in negotiations led by Louis Riel to eventually create the province of Manitoba in 1870. ⁠
