Serge’s farming roots began in Venezuela where he was born and his family did mixed farming. Soon after immigrating to Canada his parents purchased land in Oak Bluff and took up the challenges of farming in a colder climate. In 1984 Serge and Marianne purchased a small acreage in Oak Bluff and have been involved in farming ever since. With the help of their daughter and her husband, they grow an extensive variety of plants for the garden in their greenhouses, and once the weather warms up, you will find them planting and harvesting their crops from the fields. Along with the standard vegetables, they also grow many ethnic varieties and novelty vegetables.
